SIMON DWYER
Director

Born and bred in Ireland, Simon made the big move to Aotearoa at the age of 21. After working in hospitality, finance and most recently property & facilities management, where he met and became close friends with Michael, they decided to set up Washaway. Simon has knowledge and experience in property & facilities management and is keen to bring this to Washaway to ensure they deliver top quality cleaning service.

In his spare time, Simon likes to spend time with his wife, daughter and dog. He is a loyal supporter of the Warriors and you’ll be sure to catch him at the games.

MICHAEL LAI

Director

Michael was born and raised in Fiji and moved to New Zealand at a young age. He has a Bachelor of Culinary Arts and spent some time working as a chef. He also has experience working in IT management, property, and parking management. Michael is a keen investor who is passionate about business and entrepreneurship.

Some of his interests include fishing, cooking and photography.

ESCMAY DWYER

Business Manager

Escmay moved to New Zealand at the age of 10 from Samoa and spent most of her life in West Auckland. Currently juggling motherhood, her second pregnancy & a full time job working in Property Services, Escmay is excited to bring her experience and knowledge to manage the operation, marketing, and Health & Safety of Washaway. Health & Safety and Cleaning at Height will be two of her main focuses this year to help expand Washaway’s portfolio and to ensure the safety of clients, workers and public are always a priority.

Escmay is a loyal Warriors supporter, loves to hang out with her family and friends and enjoys reading and cooking.
